This poem is to congratulate someone on passing their driving test

Freedom

Congratulations
On passing your test
Freedom at last
On the road with the rest

No more buses
And no more walks
Just jump in the car
And of to the shops

Your now independent
I’m sure you’d agree
But one piece of advice
You should take from me

When driving in town
And traffic is bad
Try to relax
Don’t get mad

Just look at a bus stop
And the people in the queue
And try to remember
That was once you
